John Stewart has over 40 years experience in the construction industry in England, Australia and the Bahamas (the latter being Johns home for over 30 years).

Initially trained to work within private practice with E.C. Harris & Partners in London, John worked on a number of projects in the South East of England before leaving for Australia & then on to the Bahamas where he was employed for a number of years with the Denis Hingston Partnership. John eventually moved into the contracting industry, gaining invaluable experience with Carl G. Treco Contractors, before returning to his roots by founding Construction Cost Engineering ( Bahamas) Ltd. in 1987.

John is a member of the American Institute of Cost Engineers and the Association of Cost Engineers ( England).

John has gained an enormous amount of experience both in contracting, (including design and build) and private practice in the United Kingdom and overseas for large companies including AMEC & IDC.

Arriving in the Bahamas in 1992, John was employed by the Government of the Bahamas ultimately as their chief quantity surveyor. John's position involved overseeing bids and contracts of all sizes and total responsibility for the annual construction budgets of the Ministry of Works before joining Construction Cost Engineering in 1998 as a senior surveyor/project cost controller.

John is presently a member of the Chartered Institute of Building, the Architecture & Surveying Institute and the Association of Building Engineers.

David graduated with a Diploma in Quantity Surveying in 1981 becoming a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and immediately went into contracting in the United Kingdom.

Between 1981 and 1988, David was employed in a variety of roles as a quantity surveyor on projects ranging from mechanical and civil engineering work to ground engineering and general building for The Murphy Group, Norwest Holst Construction and Cementation Piling and Foundations Ltd. (the latter as area quantity surveyor for North West England and North Wales.)

In 1988 David left the United Kingdom for the Bahamas where he spent six years in contracting before joining Construction Cost Engineering in 1995 as a senior quantity surveyor/project cost controller.
